About Vertex Discoveries
Vertex Discoveries (Dentosity, LLC dba Vertex Discoveries) is an Iowa-based startup located in Hiawatha, IA, developing patented LED UVC-emitting devices to improve oral health. Our technology enhances root-canal disinfection by reducing microorganisms that remain after standard-of-care procedures, helping dentists and endodontists achieve better patient outcomes and fewer retreatments. Compact, ergonomic, and easy to use, our device represents a new standard in dental care that would advance infection control while supporting local innovation and global impact.
Our Device
Our device generates UVC light within the handpiece and delivers it through a flexible fiberoptic tip to target and kill bacteria deep inside the root canal.
